I look into how colour, speed, light, and darkness connect in my work. I look at how these parts work together to make tension, depth, and movement. I'm interested in how they are different, how light and shadow, motion and stillness, and brightness and emptiness are all different. These differences are meant to make you feel certain things. Every shade and colour has a story to tell about change and strength.
 

We feel things that come and go like waves when we look at colour. Time and its never-ending flow are held together by speed, which shifts these feelings between being clear and sharp. But chiaroscuro gives my work a classical drama. It's a dance of light and dark that draws people in, builds tension, and makes me feel like time stops.

I make art based on what I feel and what I think. The way light moves and changes in space often gives me ideas. I use bright colours and big gaps between light and dark to make the art look like it's alive and changing.
 

It's something I want the person who sees it to feel deeply and directly. Also, I tell them to find beauty in the way that calm and chaos work together.
